Accreditation of our Community
Less than 1,900 continuing care retirement communities are in operation throughout the country.
But only a few make the effort to have their programs and services accredited by an outside organization. To further our efforts to provide excellence in retirement living, the Franklin United Methodist Community has put itself through an intense survey and quality improvement inspection by leading experts in the country.
We became the first Johnson County facility to receive accreditation from CARF-CCAC, and are only one of ten such communities in all of Indiana. The Franklin United Methodist Community received the designation for a five-year term, which has been renewed.
It is an honor to have the nation's premier accrediting body for continuing care retirement communities acknowledge that our Community has met their best standard and granted us their highest honor, a five year accreditation period. We are proud to be in this very select group of retirement communities in Indiana to achieve this recognition.
The community demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site survey that it is committed to conforming to CARF-CCAC's stringent accreditation conditions and standards.
